Ramblings

Hi,

Just a quick update before I leave for Ireland tomorrow. This will be our 26th or 27th Ireland Tour…not sure which, the numbers get confusing as one ages…don’t you think? Once again we have a lovely group coming with and the trip promises to be a lot of fun. The weather over in the Southwest of Ireland is holding nicely with highs in the seventies and with a little luck we’ll do well.

Several weeks ago I was invited to perform on the Disney Magic cruise ship and joined the ship in Corfu, Greece. It was a wonderful experience and I’m thankful for the opportunity.

On September 5th I’m scheduled to perform in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick and I look forward to being back there.

Here is the link for the Joanie Madden Irish Cruise on May 16th, 2015.: www.joaniemaddencruise.com .We leave New York City on board the Norwegian Gem on the afternoon of May 16th sailing south towards the Bahamas. Musicians include Cherish the Ladies, Cathie Ryan, Maura O’Connell, Ennis, Gabriel Donohue, The McLean Avenue Band, myself, Tommy Sands and a host of other musicians, singers and dancers. Workshops, concerts, and sessions galore on a fun filled week in the sun. Sign on early for best pricing and availability. Tell them I sent you…may not do any good but it’s worth a shot.

On September 12th I join the Norwegian Dawn as she leaves Boston for Nova Scotia, Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. I will be on board for a month and very much look forward to it.

Eric Nauert produced his last Green Island Radio Show this week. There have been many changes at GPB and I hope the new staff keep up the high level set by Eric. He will be missed but luckily we’re friends so I’ll see him socially.

Please check our Calendar for performance location and times.

I am currently working on the calendar for 2015 and bookings are being accepted.

Please leave a message on our Guestbook page or on my Facebook page if you have time. It’s always great to get feedback. Take care out there and enjoy the summer.

All the best,

Signature
