Ramblings
Hello and thanks for stopping by -
If you haven’t been here in a while you won’t realize that the website crashed a few weeks ago. We lost some of our content, it’s out there in cyber space somewhere along with a truckload of other cyber junk. A little disconcerting for me who knows little about all of this…I’m still impressed by the wonderful works of a wheelbarrow!!
Our technical staff, faced with the sizeable and unenviable task of rebuilding the site from scratch leaped right into action and in no time at all (well almost four weeks involving countless hours if the truth be told) have unveiled the new website and it is something indeed. There are lots of new features that will be added to during the next several months and of course some old and trusted items, like this newsletter, still called Ramblings.
I applaud Shannon for his expertise in all things technical and of course Barbara…who has been at the helm of the website these many years. Thank you so very much for your input, diligence and support with this project.
I now invite you the reader to explore our new home here on the internet and I’ll do the same. It’s all new to me too you know!!
Please leave your comments in theGuestbook, let us know what you think. Right so…we still have some seats open on our Tour to Ireland in June but time is slipping by. I know this is a strange year, believe me I know, but if you have even a slight thought about coming with us please get in touch with Fiona at Isle Inn Tours as soon as you can. Here’s her phone number: 1 800-237-9376 ext 18
I do have a second Tour leaving on June 16 going to many of the same places and again, call Fiona for details.
I will perform at Kevin Barry’s this week, Wednesday through Sunday…which of course is Easter Sunday…Happy Easter to all…and will be at Loco's in Statesboro performing for the Center for Irish Studies on Monday and Tuesday, April 20 and 21. I have added Saturday April 25 to my schedule. We’re going to keep the Irish Nights at The Knights in Augusta going to see if they take off. Your support will be much appreciated, come if you can. In the interests of brevity I’ll keep this writing short but I will update again by the end of April. Thanks for your encouragement and I look forward to reading your comments.
All the best
